My life mission is to seek to improve the quality of life for others and myself, based on the contemporary concepts of human behavior that perceives persons in their wholeness and as human beings deserving respect and dignity.

Many people tell me that the Breakthrough Experience offers them an opportunity to quickly heal life-long blocks, improve the quality of their lives and, ultimately, to learn to live among the loving.

1978-Present Rinehart & Associates, San Diego, California, and Columbus, Ohio: Human behavior education/consulting and coaching/counseling firm, providing individual, group and business consultation and workshops. Coaching/Counseling emphases are collaborative life coaching, general counseling, couple counseling, early trauma counseling, and prenatal and perinatal counseling. Education/consulting emphases are: collaborative life coaching, human behavior, communication, human services planning, collaborative human services development, wellness promotion, team building, and stress reduction.

Resigned voluntarily after 18 months to pursue independent contracting

1972-1979 Neighborhood House Association, San Diego, California: Deputy Director and Director of Planning & Research. Developed and copyrighted a unique planning/problem solving process (now called "The Basic Need Approach to Planning and Needs Assessment"); wrote, supervized the writing or approved grant applications resulting in 1000% growth in six years (including the San Diego Food Bank and the proposal that resulted in Neighborhood House Association becoming the San Diego County Head Start Grantee); and, conducted a major needs assessment.

1970-1972 Attended post-graduate classes at United States International University, now Alliant International University.

1964-1970 Rio Hondo YMCA, Whittier, California: Executive Director and Founding Staff Member of the East Whittier Family YMCA. Developed program for all ages; led the community planning and fundraising for construction of a 15,000 sq.ft. facility, including an olympic-sized indoor/outdoor swimming pool; organized a YMCA Career Candidate program that became the largest in the western United States.

1962-1964 United States Peace Corps Volunteer, Maracaibo and Caracas, Venezuela: Co-founding staff member of the Maracaibo YMCA; Venezuela YMCA National Staff, as a Peace Corps Volunteer Leader, consulting on program development, board development and fund raising throughout Venezuela.
